Is there a stigma associated with believing in the Supernatural and the research of paranormal subjects? The answer in my opinion is a resounding YES. I have found that some people react with surprise and excitement upon learning that I like to search for evidence of things not common to everyday life as we know it. Some people respond in a different way altogether. I have always felt that I can look into someones eyes and feel when they are looking down on me. This has been the case on many an occasion when sharing the following story. I have often been challenged with the utterly ridiculous religious argument that there can be no aliens (because scripture says so) or that ghosts and spirits are the act of the Devil. To these fools I refuse to even carry on an argument and waste my breath. For many years now I have spent countless hours looking for evidence of the likes of UFO’s and ghostly entities. I have been fortunate enough to have had personal encounters with both. In this months edition of the Paranormal Cafe I will share with you a UFO encounter I was fortunate enough to experience several years ago. I will never forget the night I saw my first legitimate UFO. It was a dark winter night and the air escaping my mouth would freeze into a thick fog as quickly as it pushed past my lips. I and both my daughters were driving down the road in the little red Subaru that I owned at the time. The heat was blowing hard in an attempt to keep the frosty chill from cutting through our clothing. My youngest daughter was just a baby of about a one year and was oblivious to her ten year old sisters gasping shouts of “what’s that light?” I looked up from the road directly ahead of the car and noticed what appeared to be a super bright star shining with incredible intensity. I estimated this hovering light to be approximately two thousand feet off of the snow covered ground and maybe two miles ahead of us. I slowed the car down to just a few miles per hour as I was quite transfixed by what I witnessing in the fringed winter sky. I decided to pull the car over onto the side of the road so that I could exit the vehicle and get an even better look at this peculiar object. “What is it? What is it? Is it a spaceship?” I suddenly realized that my daughter was eagerly asking questions about the object that was capturing both of our imaginations. All I could respond with was, “I don’t know.”
Just as I began to ease the car towards the roads edge, the light began to move. At this same instance my engine turned off and every light on my instrument cluster lit up as the car came to a grinding halt. The object then grew even brighter and shot straight up into the night sky, vanishing mere moments later. Both my daughter and I sat there for a few more seconds before we both burst out, “DID YOU SEE THAT?”
I now remembered that I was still sitting in the lane of traffic, not that it mattered being that we were the only people foolish enough to be out and about on such a unfriendly night. I reached down and turned the key and the car fired back to life as though nothing had ever happened. I then proceeded to finish the drive home where we continued to talk about and enjoy knowing that we had just been privileged enough to see something very special.
This event took place eighteen years ago, and since that time I have told this story to several different people on several different occasions. Some people responded with an excitement and an enthusiastic curiosity. I have been asked what it was I believed that I had seen and where exactly I thought it had come from. Of course I was never able to say definitively what it was or what its origins might have been. I can only share my own opinions on what I believe I saw that night. I do know that this object displayed abilities of otherworldly performance that our technology can not come close to matching. And why did my car shut off like it did? It had never acted in this manner before and it never behaved in that manner again . I believe that I saw an actual alien spacecraft that frigid winters night. I am not embarrassed to admit it and I have never cared if people believe me or not.
The Universe is vast beyond our ability to comprehend and to think that Earth is the only planet that has had life begin upon it is ridiculous. It is believed that there are around two hundred billion galaxies in our Universe with more than 300 sextillion stars. That is a 3 with 23 zeros behind it. I am not even able to wrap my head around that number. Our own galaxy is believed to hold anywhere from 200 billion to 400 billion stars alone. This is another number that is quite hard to visualize or really think about. With this many stars in the Milky way galaxy, it is estimated that two percent of these stars have planets in the ‘Goldilocks Zone’ (or habitable planet zone). Even at just two percent, that is millions of potential candidates that may support life or have supported life in the Universe’s 14 billion year history. And again this is our galaxy only. If you consider the potential for living planets in all the other galaxies in the Universe, you are now looking at billions and billions of planets that could support life. We ARE NOT THE ONLY PLANET WITH LIFE ON IT!!! In the fourteen billion year history of the Universe, it is logical to assume that civilizations have risen and disappeared before life even began on Earth.
I believe members of some of these civilizations have and do visit Earth. Voice these opinions in public and be ready for a mixed reaction from one end of the spectrum to the other. The important thing is, keep your eyes open and allow yourself to think and to learn. Don't just accept doctrine because you have been told its the only truth. Seek out the information you need yourself and make your own decisions. Knowledge is the key to understanding.
Thanks for reading this addition of the Paranormal Blog, and remember...Look for what lies just beyond our perception.

Hello. Lots of fun to come. Stay tuned for all my crazy thoughts and insights. I will be discussing a wide variety of topics ranging from Ancient Aliens to UFOs and Alien abduction. I will be talking about ghosts and the world of the paranormal as well as Sasquatch and other mysterious creature legends. I will be delving into the controversy of the Bible being the story of the Gods or the ancient race known as the Anunnaki. It's said that the Anunnaki came to this planet from the planet Nibiru. I'll have a lot of fun with this one. Thanks and check in soon
